Poetic Justice
In the article, In U.S., renewed urgency follows botched bombing of airliner, it talks about how security in Vancouver during the Olympics will be very tight. Also there is controversy about how many people from outside the U.S. should be allowed into the U.S. to watch the games. This is unfair to people who really want to see the games but cant because of the restrictions that are in place due to the Christmas bomb attempt. Poetic justice is not taking place in this senerio because of the restrictions on the number of people being let into the U.S.

Emily Moreland 2-3-10
One of the issues i read about in the paper was an argument in the movie industry. The argument was over how to fairly tell which movie has done the best. Since inflamation in ticket prices it is not necessarily fair to judge it based on the income the movie has produced, then again it is argued that movies from years ago didnt have much to compete with and that it "was a different world back then."

I was amazed at what one college student, Ha 22, who has worked with HIV-affected young people in Kenya, done pre-clinical evaluation of a cancer drug, studied ventilation technologies to help the National Cancer Society lobby for a bill to ban indoor smoking in Washington, D.C., and is the only undergraduate on Ohio State's board of trustees. I think that it is inspiring that someone so young can do so much.
If i were to get involved in something it would also have to do with cancer becuase i have had multible members of my family affected by cancer. Ha's story has impacted me to want to make a difference in the world, even if its not as big an impact as she is having, i still want to help in anyway i can.
